Essential Management and Manual Therapy for Spinal Dysfunction

This 2-day course will provide both didactic and practical instruction in the utilization of a variety of orthopedic manual therapy techniques for the client with spinal neuromusculoskeletal dysfunction. Instruction will include safety considerations, essential evaluation & assessment components, as well as an array of thrust and non-thrust techniques for treatment options. A review of the contemporary evidence-informed literature supporting the use of manual therapy in clinical practice will also be presented.

Course Cost & Duration:

Cost: $650 per participant. TPS partner rate = $575 per participant.

Duration: Saturday and Sunday from 8 AM – 5 PM. Course days are adjustable based on the needs of the hosting organization and instructor availability.

Prerequisites:

None other than being an appropriately licensed healthcare provider (e.g., PT, PTA, PA, MD, DO, OT, COTA, ATC, DC, etc.) in their respective state and/or country. Participants are responsible for knowing the legality of their individual scopes of practice regarding the utilization of manual therapy techniques (e.g., high velocity thrust maneuvers) in their practice area(s).
